Megan, Receptionist
Hi! I am so happy to be part of the team here at MeriPets. I always had the feeling to help animals whenever I could and I got the opportunity in 2018 to work as a receptionist at a vet clinic and instantly fell in love. I take care of my 6 animals, Bama, Cyrus, Ollie, Duke, Shelly and Tilly. I love coming to work everyday and getting to see and help as many of our patients as I can. I am so excited to have the opportunity to work here and I can't wait to help all of our amazing clients!
Kym, Certified Veterinary Assistant
In June 2016 I finished my vet assistant program at Ross Medical Education Center. I knew I always wanted to work with animals ever since I was little. I would take stray animals in and nurse them back to health by feeding them and making sure they had a warm place to sleep. I am excited to be given the opportunity to work at Meridianville Pet Hospital and apply my care giving skills.
Lauren, Certified Veterinary Assistant
My name is Lauren. I grew up in Huntsville, Alabama and graduated from Buckhorn High School. I have always loved animals and have taken care of my two dogs, Snickers and Harley, for the last 11 years. I wanted to carry my passion further so I enrolled in Ross Medical Education Center in 2016. I am now a Certified Veterinary Assistant and am so grateful for the opportunity to work with Dr. Dougia, her staff, and all of our amazing patients!
Jasmine, Veterinary Assistant
Hi everyone! My name is Jasmine. I moved out here from California where I worked as a kennel assistant all the way up to a veterinary technician assistant. I've worked around pets my whole life. I would volunteer at rescues every weekend. I always knew where my heart belonged. I have been given on awesome opportunity to work with what feels like a family here at Meridianville Pet Hospital. I can't wait to meet you all!
James, Certified Veterinary Assistant
Hi! My name is James. For as long as I can remember I've always had a love for animals and deep down I knew that one day I would work with them in some capacity. Helping animals always felt right and came naturally. In 2015, I attended Ross Medical Education Center and enrolled in the veterinary assistant program where I had to complete an externship here at MeriPets, that's when I first met Dr. Dougia and her amazing staff. After graduating I worked at another local clinic for 3 years learning an honing my skills. In 2019 the opportunity presented itself to go back to where it all began and I became a member of the Meripets family. I'm excited and blessed to have this great opportunity and I'm looking forward to providing the best care possible to you and your four-legged family members.
